About
A Company specializing in doors, laminated floors, and baseboard installations in Curitiba, Brazil. Its differential is knowing how to identify, plan, and implement projects with perfection that lasts for years without rework. That’s because Dycks masters the handling and finishing wood pieces related to installations in properties.
The company attends B2B (engineering and construction companies) and B2C (final consumer) clients and has been presenting a growing demand. Recently, Christian Dyck, owner and founder of the company, commissioned Sato Design to develop the brand identity, strengthen communication, and present a more effective visual system to capture the target audience and show the quality of their work.

For the brand, we developed a clean and modern visual system, but at the same time, bold and present, with cuts at an angle of 45º in the logo development that refers to the half-square (essential tool in the manipulation of wood) with powerful and expressive ink traps that convey all the mechanical and precise side in the finishing services. All of that creates a conjunction between the letters of the nominal logo and a lot of visual pragnanz.

We created a cohesive logo with letters that follow a constructive system, transmitting all the competence and professionalism of the company in finishing services. We also choose sober and contrasting colors, ensuring brand differentiation in the competitive scenario. With objective communication and a message straight to the point, we selected Florian Karsten's Space Grotesk family to make Dycks' tone of voice tangible. A modern, readable neo-grotesque family that also presents ink traps and unique mechanical characteristics (fitting perfectly with the whole visual system), making the brand strong and memorable in its segment.
